The goal of this zine was to give information on our intended major at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
In my research on zines I learned about the process of Riso printing, and its influence on zine culture. I had a limited timeline and couldn't actually use a Riso printer, but I still wanted to give the reader the feel of it by using color, texture, and layering inspiration from it.
In my zine I mainly wanted to highlight how broad graphic design is. I have found that many of my peers in other majors find graphic design to be boring, and limited in creative scope. In reality, it can be a hugely satisfying career that is diverse, creative, and constantly evolving.
